W3ltfrieden e.V. is an association for peaceful coexistence, independent of political and religious affiliations. We connect people and build a platform where the wish for peace becomes concrete projects people can work on together.
At W3ltfrieden, you can use your skills, time and ideas to help people live together peacefully. Start your own peace mission or contribute to an existing one. Your support helps us expand the shared infrastructure for peace missions.
Peace mission bot
This is how
the wish
for peace
becomes
shared action
W3ltfrieden connects people, ideas, responsibility and support in one clear structure. These six elements show you how to get in and help shape what comes of it.
1
Pioneers
Anyone who registers with W3ltfrieden becomes a pioneer. Pioneers start peace missions, work in mission teams, offer help and share what they learn in the mission logbook.
2
Peace mission bot
The peace mission bot helps pioneers translate their own potential, skills and passions into a concrete mission draft. Anyone who would rather join an existing mission finds the undertakings that fit through the platform.
3
Peace
missions
Peace missions are concrete projects for peace or sustainability. Pioneers start them, carry them out together and have them reviewed by transparent rules.
4
Ethics bot
The ethics bot reviews peace missions against the W3ltfrieden ethical basis, which joins the UN human rights with the hacker ethic, and flags conflicts for human moderation. The final decision always rests with a person.
5
Mission overview and marketplace
The mission overview shows published missions, active and completed. The marketplace lifts out the ones currently looking for help. There pioneers can browse, discover the range and the effect, and volunteer through “Offer help”.
6
Logbook and public feed
In the mission logbook, teams document progress and results. The public feed collects those entries, so that what was tried, learned and achieved becomes visible.
Spent transparently. On technology, security and getting the first missions started.
Help us build the infrastructure for the first missions
W3ltfrieden is in its build-up phase. Your donation helps us develop the platform safely, build the peace mission bot responsibly, and review the first missions by hand and make them visible.

Your first mission draft
Five questions. One concrete proposal you can take further
You describe briefly what you can bring and what is on your mind. The bot orders what you wrote and turns it into a first mission draft. The test takes about two minutes. Keywords are enough. Nothing is published or submitted while you are testing.
Short, honest answers help more than perfect phrasing. You can pick a suggestion or type your own keywords.
World peace sounds like a state that either exists or does not. Peace research treats it as something else: the result of conditions people can build. Those conditions are what W3ltfrieden works on.

Two kinds of peace after Galtung
In 1969 the Norwegian peace researcher Johan Galtung drew a distinction that still underpins the field. Negative peace means no direct violence is taking place: the weapons are silent. Positive peace means more than that, namely that the conditions violence grows out of are absent too. Access to education, institutions that work, fair distribution, and a way to hold a conflict without anyone getting hurt.
The difference is practical, not academic. A ceasefire ends fighting; it does not resolve a conflict. Positive peace describes the work that starts afterwards, and it consists of many small, checkable steps. World peace in that sense is not an end state somebody declares one day, but the sum of those steps.
That is not a promise that every conflict can be solved. It is something more sober: peace is not an accident but the result of decisions. Take that seriously and the question stops being whether world peace is possible and becomes which step comes next, and who takes it.
A peace mission on W3ltfrieden is a published undertaking with a person responsible for it, a checkable goal and a course of events others can read. It might be a neighbourhood project, a translation, a school lesson, mediation between two groups that have stopped talking to each other.
What matters is what a mission is not: neither a statement of intent nor a fundraising appeal. It says what is being done, by whom and by when, and afterwards it documents what came of it. Publication is neither a guarantee of impact nor a blanket endorsement.
W3ltfrieden works with artificial intelligence, in a clearly bounded role. The peace mission bot asks five questions about your time, your skills, what matters to you, where you are and who you know, and turns the answers into a draft. An ethics bot pre-checks submissions and raises points for the human moderators.
The boundary is written into the association's ethics charter and holds without exception: no bot submits a mission, no bot publishes one, no bot decides about people. What a human has to decide, a human decides.
With the sixteenth Sustainable Development Goal, the United Nations set down that peace, justice and strong institutions belong together. States work at that level. Below it lies a second one, where individual people work: in a neighbourhood, a school, a club, in an argument of their own.
W3ltfrieden starts at that second level. You answer five questions, develop the proposal, publish it and carry it out together with others. Anyone who would rather not start a mission can support a running one, with time, skill, reach or money.
I want to open an international conversation about a bold long-term question: could the United Nations one day establish its principal headquarters in Auroville, India - or develop a meaningful global peace center there as a first step? I visited Auroville in 2011 and was deeply inspired by its atmosphere and founding vision. Auroville was founded on 28 February 1968 by Mirra Alfassa, known as “the Mother,” as an experimental international township dedicated to human unity. At its inauguration, young people from 124 nations and 23 Indian states placed soil from their homelands into a shared urn - an enduring symbol that humanity can meet beyond nationality, religion, politics, and division. Its Charter describes Auroville as a place for ongoing learning, progress, and the practical exploration of human unity > Auroville Charter Today, the United Nations is headquartered in New York. This mission does not seek to diminish the city, its people, or the important work already carried out there. Instead, it invites a positive, thoughtful, and long-term exploration of what a globally shared and peace-centred location could contribute to the future of international cooperation. I believe that an institution entrusted with humanity’s common future should continuously develop its ability to prevent war, protect human dignity, strengthen dialogue, and support peaceful solutions before violence begins. Auroville’s founding impulse - human unity in practice - could offer inspiration for such a conversation. Any future development would need to respect India’s sovereignty, the people and governance of Auroville, international law, and the democratic decision-making of UN Member States. The aim of this mission is not to demand an immediate relocation. It is to create a respectful network of people who are willing to think generously, research carefully, and explore what would be needed for a stronger global peace architecture. Together, we could examine legal, diplomatic, cultural, ecological, financial, and practical questions. We will also explore how international institutions can become more capable of preventing armed conflict through dialogue, consensus-building, non-violent conflict transformation, and transparent, rights-based international cooperation. First steps could be Holding regular online meetings for people who share this vision. These meetings will be spaces for listening, learning, and developing realistic pathways. We will collect perspectives from peacebuilders, researchers, diplomats, educators, Auroville residents and friends, international-law specialists, young people, and anyone committed to a peaceful world. We will begin by mapping the main opportunities and challenges: What would a fair, lawful, and internationally supported process look like? How could Auroville’s values of human unity inform global diplomacy without appropriating or burdening its community? What legal, logistical, environmental, and financial requirements would need to be considered? What can be learned from existing UN institutions, peace processes, and international mediation? How can global institutions become more effective at preventing violence and strengthening peaceful cooperation? Who I am looking for I am looking for people who think big while remaining grounded, respectful, and willing to learn. You may be a peacebuilder, diplomat, lawyer, researcher, educator, community organiser, artist, student, Auroville resident or friend, or simply someone who believes humanity can develop better ways to resolve conflict. In particular, I welcome support from people with experience in: international law and UN reform diplomacy, mediation, and peacebuilding Indian and Auroville contexts consensus-based decision-making research, writing, translation, and communications online facilitation and community building environmental planning and sustainable infrastructure How you can help You can help me to organize the online meeting or just join, contribute research, share relevant contacts or resources, help facilitate respectful dialogue, translate materials, or co-create a realistic roadmap. Above all, I am looking for fellow thinkers and builders who want to explore this vision with care, humility, courage, and a commitment to peace. This mission is an invitation: let us imagine, research, and build toward international institutions that serve the whole human family - and help make peace a shared global practice.

I am starting this mission because I believe that people should be able to meet each other as human beings, not as headlines, labels or enemies. From Frankfurt, I want to create careful online spaces where Iranian, Israeli and international participants can listen, share culture and lived experience, and build small, practical connections rooted in dignity, safety and hope. This is not a space to speak for governments or to demand that everyone agrees. It is a space to listen with respect, without hate, dehumanisation or pressure. We will begin with small, moderated online listening circles and let the group shape the next practical steps together. What I need to get started I am looking for two trusted volunteer co-facilitators with Iranian and Israeli community connections, a trauma-informed dialogue adviser, translators, and cultural or educational partners. I also welcome the first 10–15 participants for a pilot listening circle. How you can support ممنون

People come together with questions about their body and well-being. We listen to each other and share simple ideas and experiences. No diagnoses, no prescriptions—just orientation, support, and conversations about living a free and healthy life. This week, the groups are coming together to exchange ideas and discuss what they would like to organize themselves. Everyone can contribute their own knowledge and experience, whether it’s medicinal plants, movement, nutrition, or ways to support a natural detox and create a lighter, freer feeling in body and mind. The hope is that this will grow into a regular meeting place where people can share, learn from each other, support one another, and feel less alone with their questions.
